Ok to be fair, a year in this explanation makes a lot more sense than it it did a year ago. While still not the clearest for a brand newbie if you get out there (and play) a lot more of this will become apparent in short order. So I'd give an extra star for the effort.

Some players say 0 0 Start for the very first serve and that may be less confusing to newbies than 0 0 2.

I have a question regarding the server position during a doubles game. Let’s say the score is 3 2 2 and team B faults and the server returns to Team A. Score is now 2 3 1. Which side does Team A Server 1 serve from? Left or right side? Is it based on an odd or even score that determines which side Sever 1 serves from?

Pickleball would be much more fun and would speed the game up if a point was rewarded to the team that won the point whether the team was serving or not. You could expand the scoring to 21 (or some other number) instead of 11. In a similar manner, this was done in volleyball where the rule was changed that a point was awarded to the team that won the point regardless of whether they were serving or not. This rule change it made it much more fun to play volleyball and the game went faster. The same could be said for pickleball if the rule change went into effect. I did this while playing with my son and now we always play this way when we play together. Someone ought to request this rule change.

I've gone through several videos and I don't get the appeal. Used to play racquetball though it is difficult to find places that have courts in my area. Never very good at tennis (I can't count the number of balls that ended up on the roof of the indoor swimming facility where I used to practice against the outside wall!) Would get back into racquetball if I had the option to do so. This just seems like something for little kids or the elderly to maintain fitness (and I am not discounting it for them as I will get there soon enough). I am trying, as I want to find some other activities that will help me roll back into better shape, but after about 10 or so videos I'm just not seeing it...
