Ukraine attacked the Morozovsk airbase in Rostov overnight and might have damaged 2 Russian SU-34s! Also, Putin comes out with another ceasefire announcement but is it actually a serious proposal?

Chris, a Russian economic collapse is Ukraine's best chance of a military victory. I am growing more unsure that Ukraine can win the war in a conventional military sense. Putin hasn't ordered a general mobilization yet.

I am a retired USN Submariner, from my perspective, I look at who is making money from this war, Clearly Gazprom ain't doing so well...lol... Who is profiting from this war, who would like to see it go on and on as long as Ukraine holds on and the Russo-Iranian-Chineese, -North Korea, Doesn't prosper? Certainly India is making bank as well as the United States and Canada. The U.S. could of ended this war a long time ago but didn't...it could end it tomorrow if it really wanted to, but money and wrecking a global competitor for long term security of the state is more important than doing what is right in the short term. That being said, I see the support that the U.S. provides is a bit self serving and designed to prolong the conflict, rather that resolve it.

How about Putin withdraws troops from the whole of Ukraine, evacuates Crimea, and cedes Belgorod to Ukraine¹ in a gesture of faith and Ukraine will render him to the International Criminal Court? At least Putin will stay alive, which isn't guaranteed if he stays in the Kremlin much longer?
