So, I just found out. If you deny him his quest to bring in mushrooms, you can jail him and end the repeating quest. And get the mushroom follower

I planted the sozo together with an NPC by accident and told what the NPC planted and I lost the sozo😭😭😭😭

So I have a problem. I planted sozo and then went off to anura to beat hecket and when I returned there was no sozo in sight and he was not planted in the ground. I also don't have the sozo mushroom that you plant anymore

Just so anyone knows sozo gives a quest to find a follower of his if you deny it he will immediately descent. After reeducating the mushroom on his head (who is actually sozo) will fall of and leave the follower and will now immediately turn old. I recommend having a gold scull necklace at and a some egg yolks to make the mean to make him young.

I absolutely refused to finish sozo’s quest after finding out he’d die, seeing that you can resurrect him as a follower makes me happy. I do have one question though, does he age like other followers and eventually die?

After him asking for Mushroomos for the 3rd time I accepted the quest, but just kept avoiding the room they're in so that he'd stop asking.

Shozo is great for expeditions, especially if you give him the missionary necklace.

I’m reading that a lot of people lost their Sozo due to a random follower planting a seed. For this reason, I would assume that the devs either patch it so that any save data where the seed is gone but both the follower form and the growing plant are absent gets the seed respawned, or something.

When sozo dissents when you decline his quest and he leaves how do i get him back, ive looked it up and its confusing

I put the seed of Sozo in with my regular crops, it grew into cotton somehow and was sowed with the rets of the crops seeds :(
