Something I figured out while crusading: ? Rooms actually have a chance to spawn as lore rooms. I have no idea if they count towards the snake but still it’s helpful for getting an achievement.

You can actually find more than one hidden room per run. I've found as many as four in a run. You can only find one per combat area. (Not per room, per map icon that sends you through a standard combat gauntlet.) That's why the Fleece of Fervor's Favor is generally the best fleece you can equip while hunting these down, you can just heal off the damage you take from sacrificing health for lore tablets. It is a postgame fleece, though.

The Fleece of fragile fortitude is not an ideal pick if you are trying to unlock these.
