Hello everyone!
Today, i will show you some loadouts, weapons, accessories, armor to help you for your next true melee playthrough
This is maybe one of my biggest project yet so a sub to the channel will be very cool!
All the armor/weapon/accessories info come from the Calamity wiki

*Remember that the loadout i show are not the only one you can use. Get creative and create your own loadout if you want! Also, i included minimal expert only loot so this video is normal mode friendly!

Great guide! I approve it! True melee is still a meh class right now, but Old Lord Oathsword and the Fractured Ark / Biome Blade line really helps!

If pre-bosses covers all the way to the first evil boss, it’s probably important to mention upgrading boots and double jumps to lightning/frost spark and sandstorm balloon

This is a really good guide! A little mess up i found was at 8:05 the reaver armor says +50% instead of just +50.

First of all thanks for this guide. After nearly 40 hours of gameplay I defeated moon lord for the first time ever and I did it in master mode, death mode. I technically started in malice mode but when calamity updated malice mode was gone so I had to settle for death mode xD. I switched up some accesories for some bosses due to their debuffs and I was also confused on how you were able to fit over 8 accesories at once since the max I could do was only 7, unless those accesories were just suggestions. I kinda avoided using the biome blade since its rework kinda made it not true melee completely. Managed to defeat moon lord using a phoenix blade. I will still follow this guide and update again when I defeat sCal. Thank so much and keep up the good work brome!

I just realized that the omniblade being a katana with high critical strike chance makes it a critana.

Also you can use calamitas after you defeat her to make any projectile weapon true melee with that one enchantment. Works really well with the exoblade

I'll be honest a lot of this I feel like could be different once broadswords get reworked, or you can use a mod for directional melee swings, so that way broadswords are more useful for all directions of combat, and not just grounded combat.

idk abt the Hive mind arena, but i openned up the corruption cavern with bombs and nightmare pickaxe, his fight underground is pretty much easy

Also useful info: Gold Armor set is pretty much the go to if you want to mine, since it has mining speed% increase

Unless I missed it, it looks like the guide skips over Astrum Deus, mentioning the existence of Astro bars, but never guiding you to defeating the boss that unlocks the harvest of them
