Calamity Mod, but I'm TRUE MELEE Class

Can I survive Terraria Calamity mod using possibly the hardest class to use, the TRUE MELEE class? True Melee class is basically melee class but your melee weapons don't shoot projectiles... it's really painful to play with...

I have done this myself, and I can confirm how calamity has really outdone themselves because the true melee is actually a more viable class then before. Now you can actually do it, but of course some bosses might be extremely harder with true melee.

I've only ever played Ranger, so correct me if I'm wrong, but true melee would be so much better if you could 'aim' the sword's arc, so you could effectively hit below yourself as well

It's kinda funny how you have to hug the bosses while having 20 def more than a ranger that can have the boss off-screen

Neat to see a video like this, true melee is actually my favorite way to play the game, completely different from all clases and use another strategies, you have to basically think outside the box by using only swords and spears, and was really good to see calamity buffed vanilla swords and spears

Something about Dead Cells music (other than being an awesome soundtrack) really fits Terraria's boss fights.

I know they're both side scrollers so they have that in common. Still always though it was an excellent choice your videos.

you do have to remember though that the avalanche absolutely creams the destroyer because of all the things its spawns in a high radius. used in my melee play through and the fight was over in 10 seconds

5:12 ill have to disagree . While the dps is lower, it inflicts frostburn and especially the ice bombs work well with the destroyer . And other worm bosses

true melee is a difficult class for a few specific bosses since they are very difficult to get in range, but is so overtuned to the point where you're able to 100-0 most bosses in a couple seconds using adrenaline. that's calamity balancing for you !
