Wendy, another older artist here, I've been professional and won awards, Volunteered to exhaustion, taught and showed and sold, but burn out is a real thing! Now at retirement age (I'll never retire from creating.) but retired from the push to Market my work (yuck) your videos have helped me to remember to PLAY again, my tight realism I love sometimes holds me back with the feeling everything needs to be salable. My sketchbooks are my safe place to play. I don't know if you'll see this comment so long after your post but I admit to saving your precious videos in my browser as a sort of dessert - for my soul! Over the past couple of years, your videos, art and lifestyle along with my daughter teaching me about meditation, have changed my whole perspective on life. I now create more and don’t worry so much if anyone else likes it. I allow myself to have days off to re charge and don’t feel lazy or guilty. A truck hit my car from behind at the end of December. I have been busy doing all therapies for my head and finally able to get out walking. It has done a number on my creativity.
