soo many misconceptions and misinformation in agriculture/agronomy. Bottom line for me is results. There are some crops and some situations where no-till, organic, etc. simply doesn't provide as good of results as conventional methods. People automatically discounting something because of a roundup patch on his shirt just illustrates my point. People make assumptions and draw conclusions based on really nothing of substance. There's a lot of cherry picked data and "science" but most farmers are going to do what works best on their farm. Spend some years farming, see your results with different methods, and then you might have something worth sharing. As an agronomist I look at what the growers are doing who are truly getting the best results, and then work from there.
