Can't wait for it! I'm a developer, and I think this will be HUGE for creating apps. Note to users: Apple Intelligence APIs exist on-device, but there is no documentation or packages so that devs can use it, so chances are that _most_ apps won't have these capabilities yet. Pretty much all AI-enabled apps use Gemini, Claude, GPT, or CoreML.

Exteremly underwhelming so far. Siri answers still defer to web search results and sometimes Wikipedia, mail summaries don’t seem to be working at all for me (never finishes loading), writing tools are ok but that’s about all that’s present and working well from what I can tell. 🤷🏻‍♂️

5:36 I’m mainly looking forward to the Mail sorting and analyzing features for my bloated inboxes. I hope it will work on my 12+ iPhone and m1 iPad Pro 🤞 same goes for photos app, better analyzing content and location detection.

Apple Intelligence started the same day they announced it. There's nothing under the hood except for 3rd party apps like OpenAI filling the void BUT no one's in a hurry for these features anyway so Apple can take their time to build a strong baseline before taking off. I give it 3 full years before we can see any material impact.

Great video. Thank you for this. We’ve been getting very mixed messages up until this video. Most sources reported “Apple intelligence will be delayed longer than expected.” Considering some sources quoted possibly 1st quarter 2025, that news was terrible. Now, even if the full release is 2025, we know it’s not “vaporware”.

Despite the proofreading and new animations introduced for Apple Intelligence, Siri’s functionality remains largely unchanged. The responses provided by Siri for information-related queries are still based on the same basic answers as before.
