I wouldn't mind it if apple gave us the option to make the text for the icons stay when the icons are made bigger, and to also be able to make the icon names text bigger as well, for those of us with less than good eye sight .

How do you do that when you have to do geometry on the iPad? So something like drawing a straight line with a set square or a compass.

face time control will be great for helping kids log into things when parents/ guardians aren’t around. finally can help my sister when she signs out of netflix by accident.

For me the standout feature is math notes. That is one extremely useful feature. The next thing that needs to be worked on is the Files app. I want it to be more like the Finder in the Mac OS. I don’t want Mac OS on the iPad, I just want and need a much better Files app.

🐬 I’ve been using iPadOS beta from the first day will beta 1 & 2 had bugs and worst battery life but i still kept using it and loving beta 3 so far and it so smoothly now and my favorite feature is of course customizing the home screen screen, and moving app anywhere and the control panel I’m still looking forward for the email app update and the AI futures

Of course, we are excited about iOS 18 and iPad I guess. It’s the same thing and it all depends on how you use your device I love iOS 18 and I’m sure when I download the iPad 18 update I’ll be satisfied. I’m running the Public Beta on my phone. I think I’ll wait for my iPad.

Are there any plans to integrate AI into the Passwords app so that it will automatically update security risk passwords on a users’s behalf? I can’t think of anything more painful than having to manually update passwords one by one.

This public beta fried my 13” M4 iPad Pro. Apple replacing it under warranty, eta is a week for replacement to come in.

If they allowed icons to be closer together, that would be a real improvement. Free placement does not matter when my Home Screen is a few widgets and app and about half are folders so I can access the apps that do not fit on the Home Screen.
