The cool thing about this song is that the voice actors for Pepa and Felix sing both the English and Spanish version of the song as well as voice dub the English and Spanish version which I think is pretty cool

Two things I really love about this song. The first is the fact that the sound editors brought out normally background sounds, like Dolores' dance steps, in her first section, so it's almost as if we're experiencing the world through her gift. The second has nothing to do with the music, but when Mirabel steps out into the sunny plaza, she squints until her eyes can adjust to the difference in light levels. Too many animators forget about that, but Disney's attention to detail has always be fabulous.

Thank you for bringing up the rich history of the Renaissance madrigal, which allows for lovely wordplay with the family name of Madrigal. Lin-Manual Miranda is a genius for putting the two together.

I was blown away when I read that Stephanie Beatriz who voices Mirabel was in early labor when recording "Waiting on a Miracle". It is difficult to sing while pregnant already, the baby pressed against EVERYTHING. But to be in late stage pregnancy, not to mention early labor?! Mindblowing. lol

no matter how you feel about LMM, you cant deny that he is a musical genius! Disney has a knack for hiring such talented songwriters and composers; from Alan Menken to Phil Collins to LMM! Dolores and Camillo are the best parts of this song, to me at least. the parts that stick out the most but sound so good with the rest of the song! I feel like people don't talk enough about Camillo's VA's voice!

It's always a pleasure to see how you talk and judge all these wonderful videos/music. Since my kids saw this movie, they won't stop playing it and singing all the songs from the movie.
