The songs for this movie were written by Lin Manuel Miranda, which probably explains the musical theater feel of them. I believe he co-wrote songs for Moana as well. It would be awesome to see you react to Encanto, the songs are great and the characters are a lot of fun 👏🏻👏🏻

I feel once you’ve seen the movie it’ll make sense. Isabela the one in a purple pink dress she “has to be like princess perfect” if that makes sense and Mariano is the guy she is betrothed to marry for the Encanto. Dolores has super hearing so I believe she sings softly because she thinks she’s too loud she even claps with just her index fingers. Pepa the one that sings (it was my wedding day and Floods my brain) her mood controls the weather. Camilo (sings 7 foot frame rats along his back) he shapeshifts. Luisa isn’t singing in the song but she sings another song before this song is sang I believe

The reason why that character was singing quiet is because her power is super hearing. Throughout the entire movie she’s very soft-spoken, until she starts losing her power like the rest of the family in which she speaks louder
