Years ago, I went up into the mountains . my heavy pack was filled with granola, dried fruit & nuts . I brought the Lord of the Rings books . I spent 3 weeks there, reading and walking and sleeping . never saw another living soul the whole time . in a place like that, in total solitude, after a time, the books take on a life of their own, and feel so real, that, at times, when I looked up, I didn't know where I was . I think that it's time to do that again.

Reading the “Hobbit” and “Lord of the Rings” as a teenager, I never dreamed they could have been made into live-action movies so successfully. Images and music blended flawlessly. Thank you Peter Jackson, Howard Shore and Enya.

Each night i read a bedtime story for my 5year Old daughter and each night i play this while Holding her tiny beautiful hand in mine, i watch her beautiful eyes close slowly while she slides calmly into wonderland, feeling both an enormous happiness and love in my heart that i’m so lucky to be the father of this beautifull little girl and at the same time a sadness knowing that our time like this is so brief that tomorrow she might be all grown up on her way out the door on her own adventures, so please to all out there live your life to the fullest, live in the now because there is no do overs

The way I tried to do my homework to this music, but I ended up bawling crying it's such a beautiful piece, reminds me of simpler times...
