You hit the nail on the head. Every market is different. I'm a newbie in the AZ Turo market. Have seen big saturation out here, especially in the Phoenix area. My business is in Scottsdale which is 35 miles north of Phoenix. Since the bulk of the customers fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, I end up doing quite a few deliveries for a fee. I have to compete with Hosts who charge "Free Delivery" . I charge $120.00. I feel Hosts drop their daily fees to ridiculously low levels which causes the competition to follow suit. For example, I have a 2024 BMW 540 i X drive which rents well, but the competition who have the 2014-2016 5 series have their cars listed at $49 per day. I can't justify renting this car for such low rates. Fortunately, I own this car outright.
