If you really love someone it's not expensive to get married. I'm getting married for less than $3, 000 and the most expensive thing was the ring in the dress. We are getting our 20-year-old son ordained and he is going to officiate the wedding. We have a local Rose garden that charges $150 for 10 to 50 people to gather in one area of the park. Get you a partner that loves you for you and not all the extravagant things you can do for them.🤟🏼

I'm not sure the buying trend is about consumer confidence. I think it may have been initiated by the changes people made in their lifestyles as a result of the pandemic. They found they could live on less. They found that both partners working was causing more debt. They found that using credit cards and paying the interest was a bad idea. They put off getting a new car or went for a used car once the "chip" issue was solved. They started gardening for food, repairing clothes, and even moving off the grid or into tiny houses. They did a lot more homeschooling and continue to do so, which cuts into school-supply products. Also, the number of homeless went from 300, 000 to 600, 000, and those people aren't buying anything. They are having fewer babies, which really has marketing gurus scared. In fact, despite overpopulation, there's a political and economic push to increase births.
