Hi, thanks for your awesome tutorial. Unfortunately it did not work for me. Part 1 - the drivers were already up to date. part 2 after restart - the plugged in USB device did not show up on the list in Disk Management, so there was no where to change the drive name. Nevertheless, this is an awesome tutorial, very well laid out. Interesting side effect, after the wpdmt install and restart, my laptop started much faster! Thanks again.

Hello, I have tried the steps you have mentioned in the video. The usb is still not recognized. Could there be something on the USB that is blocking the detection? If the USB cannot be recognized, how do I scan it for viruses? Even in safe mode, I don't see the USB. The last thing I put on it was a zoom recording, maybe that caused the problem. I want to try to resolve this myself, before taking it to a shop. I have a Lenovo Windows 11 laptop and Windows 10 desktop. Please help.

I seem to be having problems figuring out my issue and I've watched lots of videos. When I got to Disk Management all I have in the drop-down is the disk 0 partition 1, 4, 5, 6 Etc and OS: C. I have nothing else to choose from it doesn't recognize my wired Mouse my wired keyboard or my wired microscope and they're all plugged in so I'm still stuck.
