SpaceX made history by launching the world's first all-civilian crew into space. The Falcon 9 rocket, with the Crew Dragon capsule, blasted off from Florida on Sep 15. The four amateur astronauts are travelling to an altitude of 575 kms above the surface of the Earth, deeper into space than the International Space Station (ISS). The Dragon capsule separated from the second stage of Falcon 9 rocket 12 mins after liftoff. The Inspiration4 mission is expected to last about three days from launch to splashdown.
