I think the fireplace corner would be a perfect and cozy reading nook. A cozy chair and side table next to the fire as you sip a cup of coffee in the morning or chilly evening.

Using the tape to perfectly hang paintings is a game changer! I will for sure be using this technique. Also everything looks great!

Something I saw on a decorating show here in Canada years ago …. the designer suggested changing out some small pieces like pillows, throws, etc. for Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. She also changed out some seasonal artwork. My main decor in the living room and dining room is grey/cream/white. For October to the end of March I use mustard coloured accessories and from April to end of September I use blush coloured accessories. I love how it looks different and refreshed just by switching out small pieces.

Kristen, another suggestion I have is to remove the gallery prints from the wall that connects to dinning space. It seems too busy. Try an etagere/bookcase…. Adding a touch of greenery would be nice too.

The prints in your upstairs hallway really brought it to life. The piano/ keyboard throws the space off. Maybe placing the dinning table closer to the fireplace and the piano facing the window. Or the piano around the corner by the fireplace. Love the summer touches fun.
