After an individual is diagnosed with Scrupulosity OCD, they may question EVERYTHING about their past religious beliefs because they realize many of the times they thought they were experiencing God's love was just the reduction in anxiety that comes from participating in the OCD cycle.

That's why I said in Episode 2 of The Enough Effect that as a Scrupulosity OCD sufferer, it felt like my entire religious past was a phony and I didn't know where to go from there.

I've been thinking a lot about that, and I realized that was just another way OCD was trapping me: I either had all the faith, or I had none.

In this episode, we'll discuss how to overcome black and white thinking when it comes to Scrupulosity OCD, including:
- Honoring and validating your past positive experiences with religion
- Giving yourself permission to live in a grey area
- Not getting sucked into trying to figure out what was real and what was not (yes, that's another one of OCD's tricks)
