Hi, I'm a 2.6. I'm just a person that studies this stuff and runs my own blood tests because doctors are so intolerable, who needs the hassle and getting sucked into the system and their scaremongering. Sten Ekberg has a blood work course where you can learn in depth how to read your labs. And Ownyourlabs by Dave Feldman is extremely cheap, tests starting at 8 bucks.

Tim, you are doing great things!! Be patient as most people won’t get it because traditional medicine doesn’t look at insulin resistance (which is CRAZY), but eventually little by little others will start to understand! It took me a couple of years before I had my “ah ha” moment to truly understand why knowing this number and your method is so important and now I’m obsessed!! ❤

69 year old male. I fast about 15 hrs. Per day. Cut 80% processed food and 60% beer.😅 Took the test at Quest. 3! Cool right.

If you want to sleep better, try swapping your coffee for bone broth. I really like coffee, but just took 30 days off. It was tame, but the main difference I noticed was more sleep.

I have been watching your videos.Your messaging IMO is on point. Some of your suggested ways of eating makes sense and is very do-able however my personal goal is to be able to eat without the constant mindfulness of ingredients and nutrition label reading. You often mention beef being one of if not the best protein. It's very hard to keep up with fresh produce when you live alone and work full time. Also it seems like eating the way you suggest can get expensive. Organic, grass fed, pasture raised, no antibiotics or hormones, non GMO, non processed, added sugars in one form or another starts to get pricey. While trying to be health and eco conscious I will spend the extra for beef from a delivery service but I just don't trust fish. Even if it says wild caught I'm still skeptical of its origins. Your warnings about grains, corn and soy as far as fertilizers and pesticides sort of rules out one my forever breakfast staples of oatmeal. Coffee in the morning is nonnegotiable and must have a touch of milk and a splash of agave. I am a believer in raw organic honey also. Like most people I just want to be able to eat, lose weight and not have to constantly be calculating and analyzing when I do.

Tim, I had a fasting insulin blood test. I am at a 12. My endocrinologist said that I am not insulin resistant with a score of 12, and He said that I am at low risk for diabetes. Where did you get your information?
