In today's lesson, we'll be taking a look at the physical geography of Japan. This is the first lesson in a Geography mini-series on the modern Japan.

Our W.A.L.T for this lesson is to:
locate Japan and identify some of its physical features

Strand Unit: People and Other Lands
- study some aspects of the environments and lives of people in one location in Europe and one location in another part of the world.

Strand: Natural Environments
Strand Unit: Physical Features of Europe and The World
-become familiar with the names and approximate location of a small number of major world physical features.

I keep watching these I will have learned more than I ever did in school. In my school days I just didn't have interest in geography and I do love it now and history.
