Im so sorry that you lost your grandfather. You never get over a death. It just gets easier to live with. I lost my grandad 14 years ago. I still feel lost, but it's just become the new normal.

How important is to get attention when we are kids? I’m sure your grandpa it’s very proud of you now and remember the best way to honor him is just remember him, I’m Mexican and in our culture we believe that the way to keep our ancestors alive is remembering them, the more the better, for us the past is very important since it give us roots, roots that are lost in most of countries! I’m sorry about your ojiichan. Mine did something similar and took me to Licca-Chan Castle. He even got me a custom made Licca Chan, I chose blue hair and a sparkly blue dress for her. Those memories mean so much.

I feel you i was raised by my grandparents an my grandma passed in 2019 while my grandpa moved back to laos 🇱🇦 about 7 months ago an now hes starting to get sick losing my grandma was like losing my mom. An tbh idk how im gonna react if something happens to him. Idk if itll be something we ever get over but you just gotta keep it pushing no matter what
