On a lake pontoon boats are awesome, go out anchor and it's a party platform and even an overnight campsite. But when it gets the slight bit nautical and there's a few whitecaps they cease being so awesome. There's absolutely no way I'd take one out in the ocean, just the swells would make driving unbearable.

Given how low the bridge deck is on these boats, they handled mid-sized waves better than I thought they would. That crappy aluminum wall at the front works pretty well as freeboard

When someone tells me they bought a pontoon, this is exactly the kinda stuff I imagine!

Growing up we had a Ski Nautique, a 97 Sea-Doo SPX, and a Fiesta Pontoon with an 85 Evinrude on it, I HATED the pontoon lol so slow and if ya caught a storm in it, nightmare gettin back to the dock.
