Parents should be charged for no life jackets for their children and infant baby. The boat captain should also be charged and held responsible for the people in his care. These waves are brutal for a babies spine and neck. Reckless endangerment and stupidity!

I have no experience in salt water boating. I have experience on lakes, so no idea how to drive a boat through waves like this. Is there a better way to pilot a boat through the inlet? Or is it just that people should avoid this inlet when it is like this? Also, that Scout captain is terrible. I agree with all the comments about life jackets, etc. But, he also throws his boat in reverse and starts backing away from the beach without looking behind him. That beach area looked pretty crowded with people in the water, jet skis and other boats.

I cannot believe the profound and intractable reluctance of people to wearing PFD's. Especially the children. The parents should be charged with reckless endangerment.

It isn't really a fun day out on the water unless you're drenched by seawater, get compression fractures of your lower vertebrae, or recklessly endanger an infant.

They are a real danger for themselves and for others
Police should revocate immediately their boat license and give citations also
