Ukraine War: Children showing bravery amongst the chaos

Sky's Chief Correspondent Stuart Ramsay spoke to 10-year-old Nazar, a Ukrainian boy who leads a patrol group in his local area everyday with a toy gun, questioning soldiers and foreign media at various checkpoints.

The boys say they're out from 9am until 9pm every day protecting what's left of their village.

Finding the dead is also a good intelligence source. Some may still have phones that can give all kinds of information about who was in a unit, where they have been, what they got up to officially and unofficially in Ukraine ( eg how they were recruited, where from, possible war crimes). But even just their personal ID and body location will tell a lot about which units were in which villages. And this general locational information will be useful both militarily and for war crimes trials.

If someone attacked a young girl and her grandmother in the street ... what would we do? We would call the police, most of us would do everything we could to help. If we had weapons we might attack the bad guys. What would happen if someone walked by and slammed our dog or cat with a baseball bat? Russia is the bad guy in this case. We can help directly and we need to. We cannot stand by and watch these beautiful people be destroyed. That would be very irresponsible. After all we are people on the same planet.
