Okay, in floor 2 there are more spots for candy to appear, 3 candy in about 1 room in floor 2. 2 candies in floor 1. and in floor 2 there are more Band-Aids found around, so you can consume more dangerous candy if you're going to try to get to the leader board. the best thing to get is cinnamon because it makes you faster with no defect unlike brittle witch takes 1/8th of your max hp away.
never eat can-die because it has a 50% to kill you and a 50% to take 99% or so. when you have a locked door in floor 1 and you eat a candy, it could spawn dread, making it a worse situation for the run. when you see the curious light on the candy, it is not as helpful as it really is, it could damage you or make you explode, but if you have a slow de-buff from one of the candies, it will get rid of the de-buff. the "nothing?" candy effect makes jack spawn in a room and yes, i know from experience. i am making my way to the leader board on the top candies with 3.3k and more to be collected soon.
(I made 1.3K candy in a day!!!!)
