One Year Living Off the Grid in a Yurt

In this video, we take you on a tour of our 20ft diameter Pacific Yurt. We built our yurt off the grid in the north woods, and have been living in it now for a year!

This tour dives into all of the systems we've built to make our yurt living as comfortable and practical as possible. Everything built, we've done ourselves and with friends.

Hello. I just moved into my yurt and am looking to furnish it with my fiance joining me soon. It is a sapling yurt from twogirlsyurts. Could you describe how you stabilized the vertical 2x4's? Could you go into detail on how you braces and flashed the propane monitor? We have an outer layer of pvc then thin polypropylene insulation wrapped white. Staying warm with a center wood stove for now. Thank you.
