Warning for those with autoimmune disorders: elderberries really do elevate your immune system, so they can actually make your flare ups worse. Ask me how I found that out.

Acorn starch jelly? That's so cool. I never heard of that

Something always told me acorns are edible because…. Ain’t no way those things look related to hazelnuts and only squirrels can eat them 😂

Edit: I’m very happy that a lot of people are concerned that I’ll just start eating acorns whenever I need a snack and conveniently happen to be next to an acorn tree. I will not be doing that, thanks for coming to my Ted talk 🫶🏾

In Korea, acorn jelly is often served cold after being marinated in spicy soy sauce, typically eaten in summer. Its wonderfully refreshing, addicting, and healthy. ☺️

As a Korean thank you for talking about Acorn Jelly! As you can tell my ancestors struggled for so long and food was so scarce we had to make jelly out of acorns Lol!

Elderberry syrup changed my life. I can actually breathe out of my nose which has been a luxury for most of my life.

Hey I just found out that carrots and potatoes stored in sand will last for a loooong time so you don’t have to eat all your potatoes at the start of winter! Thought I’d share with you guys

If you have horehound growing where you live, horehound syrup is the best cough remedy I have found. I make it also with mullein, that will open up your lungs, and I'm telling you, if you have a cough that even prescribed cough medicine won't work on, horehound will. Elderberry works best as preventative medicine, though it will surely help.

Going to get some Elderberry Syrup RIGHT NOW while my local herbalist is still open!! THANK YOU for this info, my husband and I are on day 7 of this cold and only seem to be getting worse so I'm actually waiting for an appointment with my doctor as well. I've tried everything else, I can't wait to try this as a remedy!

If it has been a few weeks you have a cold it is time to seek medical attention not nature. There is a reason people didn't live as long before modern medicine

I usually use concentrated elderberry juice and add it to tea.
Or you can pick elderberry flowers during the spring and make tea from them, or make them into a concentrated juice and add to tea.
