I am an Asian from South East Asia, who lives in a Commonwealth country and as long as I live, I admired the Queen and what she stood for. Duty, dignity, class.

You don't have to be British to look up at such an inspiring woman.

Because I am an American, she has never been my queen, but she has been the Queen of England for longer than most Americans have been alive and as long as some Americans can remember, even if she wasn't queen when they were born.
