I don't think anyone will need a 5090 or 5080, just grab a 4090 unless you actually want to use all these new Ai feautres in games and stuff. I think the Ai features will be how NVidia sells these. A 4090 is already capable of 4k 144hz+,

You need 8K to fully utilize the Quest 3 or Pico 4 screens. So anyone with a cheap VR headset who wants to have optimal sharpness across the entire frame needs an 8K-capable card. And there are headsets with much higher resolutions available already. I'm poor, though, and have to use my 1070ti at 5K with the Pico 4—not ideal but okay and manages reprojected IL-2 (high/no AA) at 2x45fps (90Hz). Anything less is obviously blurry and unplayable for me... like playing 720p on a 1080p monitor. :) Ideally, you want a card cappable of 8K and stable 90/120fps without reprojection and at least high settings for VR.

As far as the "limiting supply" it really depends on where you buy. MSI Suprim Liquid X for Example, a month Ago my MicroCenter in PA barely had 1 or 2 on stock, today they have 20, yet Best buy and BH Photo still out of stock. I might add MC bumped the price up 200 bucks from what they were selling it a year ago.

How is that better value than the 4080 or 4080S? The 4080 was also better than the 3090. It is the same exact thing in generational leap. In order to be better value the 5070Ti or 5070 would need to match the 4090, and the 5080 would need to exceed it or be better priced than the 4080S now. The second part I find quite hard considering AMD is not competing in high end for the next gen.

People may say that rtx 4090 or any of 40th series is enough, however, i disagree. Since games like microsoft flighht simulator, cyberpunk and even minecraft with shaders kinda painfully running on 8k with 15 fps, it's definitely worth it

However, as a guy who uses intergrated vram cause he is too poor, i wish i had any graphic card 💀

EVERY YEAR SAME THING BUT THE ISUE GAME devolopers everytime they release new powerful gpus they make games to fucked up does gpus sowhats the point of upgrading, game developers needs to consider gamers with mid range gpus, for example high end gpus are for 4k gaming and midrange for 1440p with the same experience, they need to stop making games more graphically demanding because all we need is a nice game visually not a freaking real life garbedge
