I feel like it’s not just the speed you do it at it’s the timing the eyes the shifting of weight the faking of the rising motion to score your doing it very smoothly but I think you might want it to not be smooth at all idk I think it’s more distinct because Hakeem actually has someone guarding him and maybe it’s different but that’s just my thoughts

Dude, you're missing out a lot in the first move.
Check out how Kareem advances with both his first step and the spin too.
He begins at high post, and ends up way inside the paint. You end up shooting exactly from the spot you were at the beginning.
If you don't do that, if you remain pretty much static, then you'll get blocked regardless.
