Prof Wolff, I am so grateful to have found you on youtube. The homeless situation is terrible in L.A and it is getting worse and worse. I feel the problem is lack of humanity in a culture that is focused on ego, fear and material possessions. How do we change things?

What would have me ready to hit the warpath would be for my community to pass one of those horrible laws criminalizing the simple kindness of feeding the homeless, or giving them blankets or warm jackets when needed. Like I always say, some laws are made to be broken.

A version of this is happening in lots of countries in the west liberal regimes. In Portugal they ousted a centrist prime minister through lawfare. In Spain they are currently trying to do the same.

The right has decided managed democracy is not enough for them. They want to drop even the pretens of liberalism.
