This is how I ended up staying with a narcissist and abusive partner. Traumatized and primed to receive crumbs of approval here and there but all the same fearing negative outcomes. I’d to physically move away to free myself from the prison I was in

Yeah, exactly. It makes you question and doubt yourself. You think, "well, maybe it's not so bad, maybe I'm being overdramatic, too sensitive, whatever." It's a real mind f*ck, that's for dang sure.

Does the narcissist realize consciously that they are doing intermittent validation or inconsistent validation? Do they do this intentionally? 🙏 ❤️

Trauma Bond makes you believe that if you walk on the eggshells right, they won't break and the narcissist will be happy and everybody wins snd is happy.
