as a die-hard crybaby, I can admit it’s kind of pointless to try and disprove that nothing happened between them since Melanie did state that they slept together, maybe timothy retracted her consent or maybe some miscommunication happened between the two, but 1 thing is for certain, Melanie should speak up about her allegations if she truly cares about her career, her fans, and even her ex-best friend.

As an SA survivor, I personally believe her. I understand it’s innocent until proven guilty, but her only defense being “She didn’t say no” is insanely abuser coded. Every time I spoke out about my story, I was called a liar or victim blamed. Until Melanie can put forth better defenses, I stand with Timothy.

Personally after doing my homework on the situation I’m staying neutral. Timothy getting dates wrong is definitely not something you want to do while making such serious accusations. It could be an honest mistake but is still not something you should do. In my opinion Melanie should make a statement.

Ok so actually there is a plausible reason called trauma dementia (I can’t remember the exact name)
But it’s a symptom of trauma where you forgot most details
When I was sa’d after a day I quite LITTERALY forgot the address of the other house I went to when it happend
And one time I had to recall the events to some friend to vent since I can’t afford therapy
And I quite LITTERALY forgot everything except the moment it happened I forgot how old I was, how old he was, I could only remeber the age gap of 7 years, I forgot the look of the home besides the exact spot it happened, I forgot his face.
It’s not an uncommon symptom either so many people have it cuz your brain tries to block trauma most of the time but can’t block it entirely as the memory and distress of the trauma is strong

Trauma survivors get dates wrong all the time, I really hope Melanie didn't do this but why would Timothy speak out AGAIN if she was lying and it ruined her life the last time?

Melanie's only defence was "she never said no" which isn't a yes. At all. If a man were to say that he'd be crucified. I grew up with Melanie but I'm not letting that cloud my judgement anymore. I'm waiting for her to speak out.
