I’m neutral in this conflict, but it really annoys me when people say “MELANIE WOULD NEVER”, as if they know her in real life. The reality is that Melanie does not know most of you exist.

I find it hard to believe she would do what she was accused of, but we sadly don't know her. I hope the allegations are fake. It'll be so hard to let go of melanie after 7 years, and I hope nobody got SA'd. people please don't forget that SA and 🍇 are two different things, they may be similar but still different! I think separating the art from the artist is an okay solution if the allegations turn out to be true.
I've done research from fans on BOTH sides, and I'm going to stay neutral until the situation is settled. Fans are getting worried, especially since mel isn't speaking up about the allegations, which is making her seem guilty? I know it's super controversial, but I'm going to keep listening to melanie and wearing her merch till everything gets settled! it's also weird how both Timothy and melanie fans bring in side information and try to make the other seem bad. EX: Timothy fans were stating how melanie is a pdf file because of her crybaby album and how it's about a little girl going through "adult" situations even though it's supposed to be a story

As a victim of SA from a friend who was also a girl, I will always side with the victim first. I was a hardcore Melanie fan until this came out. I believe Timothy 100% and it makes me sick to my stomach that people have cost this girl her job because she spoke out. She is not the only woman who spoke out about Melanie making them uncomfortable in any form. I don’t see why people are attacking Timothy after she was brave enough to name her abuser. She almost made me brave enough but due to her backlash I’m starting to be less open about it.

To all the Mel fans asking why Timothy isn’t taking this to court, SA cases are hardly taken seriously. And since Mel is a woman, I don’t think Timothy’s situation would be taken to court. If, miracle of all miracles, it is taken to court, Mel would most likely win as she is a MILLIONAIRE!!!!
