With all due respect, (love y’all loads), I personally think y’all need to shut up until everything’s sorted. She’s guilty until proven innocent. Same as she is innocent until proven guilty. I’ve been a fan of Melanie for a while now, I listened to her music when I was going through rough times, and related to some of it. I’d be devastated if she was guilty of what Timothy had accused her of, but we can’t just side her because we love her.

Edit: I saw this post on a verified page saying Melanie’s lawyers threatened to take Timothy to court and so Timothy said it was a lie idk if it’s true but it looked pretty real. There was also screenshots of people talking to Timothy about Melanie and Timothy was calling her a bad friend and saying really really rude things about her also talked about Melanie smoking weed.
Another thing I don’t understand is Timothy said they were playing a game and the photo she showed Melanie was at a table ( also Timothy bought the game..) but when Timothy was talking more about it it was that they weren’t playing a game they were in bed?? Like huh

Reasons why Timothy *might* not be lying.

1. The whole “I made it up for attention”. She was getting harassed by MM fans, and may have tried to get it to stop.
2. “Why would she speak up again about it 6 years later?” Every time she tried, she was shunned away and (possibly, if the allegations are true) victim blamed by fans of MM.
3. “Why not take it to court?” Because the justice system doesn’t care enough about woman on woman 🍇 or assault.
4. Back to the “Why six years later?” It took me 4 years to actually tell people about my abuse experience. I can’t imagine that once I did, thousands of people called me terrible things or harassed me for speaking out.

She’s guilty until proven innocent. Timothy said the incident happened on June 25th, but she made a video saying she just made a mistake and got the dates wrong. And to add to that she spoke up about it years after it happened, so she obviously doesn’t have a perfect memory of the details and exact date.
One simple mistake and everyone turns on her. Also, when Melanie responded to all this something she said was “She never said no”. Because of that statement, logistically Melanie did do something to her. Does that not say anything?? I truly love Melanie and her music, but after all this I don’t know what to think of her anymore.
