20:19 the mic cut out for the rest of the video. Otherwise, the video was great! Thanks Morocco for recognizing U.S independence first.

On the topic of the Moroccan dialect of Arabic, I work in an office with a Moroccan guy, a Syrian guy, and an Egyptian guy. According to the three of them when they speak to each other in Arabic they mostly use Standard Arabic but if they use their native dialects the Syrian and Egyptian guys can understand each other, the Moroccan guy can understand the other two, but the Syrian and Egyptian guys can't understand a word the Moroccan guy says.

A small inaccuracie : bin lwidane lake is one of the sources of oum rbia river, not draa river as mentioned in the video.
As for alkarawiyiin university in Fes, it is actually recognized by Guinness as the oldest university still functioning.
As for people, the last national census (2014), says that about 27% speaks an amazigh dialect, this is the only official data and their is no "ethnicity" data per say.
No jews were expelled from morocco, they just migrated in the 50s and 60s (about 250.000), most educated and rich went to western countries, and most poorer ones to israel.
Spain had become recently the top commercial partner to Morocco instead of france
So a couple of inaccuracies I think, but an excellent video and nice reaction !
Thanks

The Polisario front are Algerian Sahrawis supported by the Algerian government and this part of the Sahara has always belonged to Morocco. The Moroccan government is just defending these lands.

Oh yes I'm also from the north just like your friend, and in north Spanish is more popular than French for me as a 17years old and those in my age we don't speak spanish fluently because we don't study it in school it's just because there's a lot of spanish people in those cities but now since the cities became bigger we don't see them much, but we also speak French and English and those are like main languages and nowadays a lot of us try to learn new languages like Korean and Japenesse which became very popular btw teenagers (and me myself speak japenesse and little bit of Korean)
