I hope they try to find a way to make Apple Intelligence work for all devices getting iOS 18. I don't suppose it would be that bad to do the Private Cloud Compute capability for all requests if they lack the hardware capabilities. I rather it take 5 seconds longer than not have these features at all.

Apple said that they will allow the user to change the AI engine, too. That means you could use Google's _Gemini_ or even Gab's _Gab AI_ in the near future for certain queries.

I admit, I prefer the Siri orb as it was before. Sometimes I need to look across the room at my iPad to see if she answered me, and I can tell that she heard me by the orb glowing. The minute flash of light around the edges of the screen may not be visible From all angles. Plus, I think the orb looks more futuristic.
