This is an excellent explanation but a few of mine have already come off and the orthodontist said if they do he is unlikely to replace them. Should I challenge him or just rely on the trays themselves?

I had buttons on almost every tooth lol, had it for 6 months and they got removed on the 7th month for phase 2 of my treatment, I only have 3 buttons now. The removal process sucked, prob worst part imo.
