OnePlus 11 Long Term Review: After The Updates!

It's been about a few months since I've had my hands on the OnePlus 11, and let me tell you now, this is the most affordable Android smartphone you can buy with the best processor and one with a massive 5,000mAh battery. Whether you like or don't like OnePlus and their phones, the OnePlus 11 in my opinion feels like a pretty interesting package for its price. Most phones with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 5,000mAh battery usually starts at $1000, but this? Starts at $699 which is pretty compelling. So, how's it holding up after the updates?

Tech youtubers are obsessed with cameras. I think they look at it conceptually as a camera with phone attached to it, as opposed to a phone with a camera function.

I buy this phone in Finland for 750 euro 16/256, is amazing, screen, display, sound, fingerprint, camera, batery some youtubers test in full wather the phone and is ok with no problem, performance top, feeling budy premium, for this monney is a huge Win for me !❤

I have been using this phone for 2 months.
The portrait mode takes some really good pics. And overall the phone is good.
Not to forget the price difference between this and Samsung S23 series.

I cant go back to hour-long charging devices after using the Realme GT2 Pro. The OnePlus 11 is really the only option right now in the US for for both CDMA and GSM connectivity. The Motorola Edge+ is also US network specific but the cameras are subpar and you have to buy their 80 watt charger separately. This is it for a high performance fast-charging device in the US..

A new update dropped recently with some fixes and it enabled 32mp 2x photos. I had to sideload it from Oxygen updater if I wanted it right now, but others will get it regardless.

I don't understand why this isn't the number one phone for more people. The build quality, features, battery life and camera at that price point is unrivalled. Sure you can get a better camera with Apple and Samsung but you're paying considerably more and it has more features and a better finish than the Google.

Dude talked about the camera for 8 minutes lol. If you want to be a photographer BUY AN ACTUAL CAMERA made to take pictures. To the weirdos obsessed with pointless wireless charging there's cases now that they make for this phone so there you go

The point & shoot and video are in indeed good but not amazing... but... RAW and RAW+ on Oneplus phone is my favorite. Complete control and great quality output!

Hi Mark, I am thinking of switching from Apple to OnePlus (I used to rock 5T before the iPhone 13 Pro, worked like a charm) I have one question regarding the notifications. How is you experience with them? Did they fix that annoying issue where you can't slide expand the notifications from the same app? And also sliding left and right on other Androids removes the notification, did they make the adjustment where the left swipe also removes it?

You don't even mention how many Sim card slots it has. You guys are just obsessed with camera minutiae. Which most people don't care about.

no issue with wifi. why all the hype about cameras? it is phone with a camera and not a camera with a phone

In op11, there is a bug in snapchat. If we take videos in snapchat, the blacks in vis turns grey and vid content looks more filtered but not in other op or any devices. Only op11 gets this issue.

Which one would you pick between OnePlus11 x Realme GT3?

been looking to replace my OnePlus 7t (which still rocks, so not in a hurry) and I would 90% go with the OnePlus 11 cause of the better price. The showstopper however is the specs I found online regarding the USB port speed, stating that OP11 is 2.0 and OP12 is 3.2. Is that really so?
My 2019 OnePlus 7T has USB 3.1 and I really enjoy being able to copy so quickly photos from my Mirrorless camera's SD Card for editing and posting (wireless transfer comes nowhere near using a micro-sd card reader OTG), but if OP11 has only USB 2.0 that means a dramatic decrease in transfer speed (480Mbps vs 5Gbps+). Could somebody please confirm this? Or am I getting the specs wrong?
Also the other nice thing to have about the OP12 would be the better zoom capabilities... but I would gladly give that up for half-the-price of OP12.
