Why I keep returning to this EXCEPTIONAL phone.

There is an abundance of great flagship smartphones on the market from the Google Pixel 8 Pro to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra to the OnePlus Open. There is, however, a device that I keep returning to after I'm done with review devices. A phone that flies under the radar and a one that I believe to be the most complete Android smartphone package. This is Android Police's OnePlus 12 long-term review.

Great phone aside, I love the chill and calm nature of this video. I seriously got tired of tech creators trying to appeal to the cooked TikTok brains with low attention span by doing fast paced flashy editing that will give you a seizure

After wasting 3 years with horrible software on OnePlus 9 Pro, there's no way I'm going back ever again. Samsung is just so much better now with the software support and hardware.

The OP 7 Pro was the best phone ever released, I miss that pop-up selfie camera so much

This brother has single handedly boosted the sales of OP12.

He has made a minimum of 10 videos across 2 channels lol.

But he is speaking the truth though. I am loving my OP 12.

The reason you keep going back is most likely because the phone doesn't overheat like the other ones. Because of the warp charging over the past 10 years they've developed the best cooling tech and they're right under the gaming phones. I did charging comparison with my OnePlus Nord n30 with Motorola phones and the temperature was 5 to 8° always hotter on those compared to the OnePlus.

Everywhere i go i see OP12 being praised.

Hoping the OnePlus Open price comes down when the Open 2 is out. They're too damn expensive.

I used LG smartphones for a long time. But sadly they stopped making phones. So i needed a new phone in a budget and ended up with a Oneplus Nord 3. First i was a little sceptic but OP really nailed the battery. Fast charging is awsome, it lasts for two days and it can do everything i want my phone to do. My bext phone will be the OnePlus 14 or 15. I will stay with these phones, they are awsome

Been using it for over 4 months now, No complaints but the same that you mentioned at the end there, flatter display, better video & no iOSfication of the UI . U want these things

Yank, here ---- several of your videos discussing the OP12 convinced me to purchase one. Had also been considering the Galaxy Plus and the Pixel Pro. I have no regrets --- the One plus 12 is a terrific phone!

Ive been on the 7 pro for 5 years. If i didnt want pixel 9 for a change of pace and a smaller phone i would grab another oneplus. I am glad to see they are back to form after a few down years.

The only bad thing about OnePlus is the issues it has with pricing it's phones in different parts of the world.. and the Brand Value of Apple/Samsung, plus the availability and ease of purchase with EMIs and Carrier partnerships. In South Asia where we just buy phones in cash with pre paid Sim cards, OnePlus provides like 8/10 of a Samsung Galaxy Ultra or a Pro Iphone at a price difference of a few hundred dollars. If you had to pay for the phone upfront and also had to pay for the calls and data usage regularly, then you'd also look for ways to save a few hundred dollars.. that's why android phones especially non Samsung ones sell more in the less developed parts of the world.

I just got my 1st Oneplus yesterday, actually. A 12R. So too soon for any real judgements but it's a really nicely built phone and I like the simpler One Plus UI vs Samsung. Kinda of reminders me of my past Pixel phone.

ordered mine yesterday for 700€ and am really looking forward to it.
This will be my first "premium phone" experience upgrading from my now 3 years old 300€ Poco F3.

The one big miss on this phone is the lower ingress rating. Other than that, this is a fantastic device! I hope that they give IP68 on the 13.

I stick to Samsung simply because their service center in India have the best track record regarding repairing devices
