@Bosch - You have to do BETTER with your manual! There is no user guide included with the dishwasher 800 series I just purchased, amongst many other useful actions we the customers need to know!

I shouldn’t have to find out features by mere luck on the internet while searching for answers due to lack of instructions.

When a cycle is done without Crystal Dry, should the door be opened right away or kept closed for a period of time? If so, for how long? I opened the door right after a normal cycle ended and a storm of steam flushed my kitchen left me wondering if the smoke alarm was going to go off. I don’t want to have bad odors inside the unit, so I need to know about the door and the best way to keep it dry after a run.

When you use the Crystal Dry, is it the same for the door? It’s not intuitive since the door doesn’t even like to remain open.

my manual says to first add water to the salt container, and to add salt until the water is displaced....

How often should one have to add salt? We've had our dishwasher for 2 years and have not seen the add salt light ever and our water is very hard.

Fill salt to the top of what?? The funnel or fill container, etc.

Why add salt? I don't see anything in my manual about it. But then I don't see much that's helpful in the manual at all. We're still having trouble figuring out how to set the dishwasher despite having spoken for times with customer care.

I have purchased bosch (sms50e92gc) and it doesn't has funnel for adding salt. Where is the funnel? Isn't this a complimentary thing?

This is a not a good video Bosch. The instruction manual suggests 1, 5kg of salt. 1kg is max possible in my machine. Instruction manual refers only to initial filling; first time. No mention of topping up or refilling or when to refill other than 'add salt' light will come on but mine doesn't light up. So what to do? As your service centres are great distances apart readily available information should be made.
