When using my caulk, I also use my finger as a finishing tool as well. I use the trim to clean my finger off afterwards.

Thanks for the tips. I used some backing rod in my big spaces. I have a Husky drip free gun. It does not work.

Is the 45 degree angle facing up or down while applying caulk?

Please don’t use this caulk. It’s ka rap. After you use this set calendar event on your phone with a yearly reminder. After a year go back and remove the now cracked caulk and replace it with a little more expensive caulk like Big Stretch.
