VW Discover Media MIB2 Developer Mode & Green Menu activation

How to enable hidden developer test mode and green menu in Volkswagen Discover Media MIB2 unit installed in #GolfMK7 using #OBDeleven. When this feature is activated, you need to press and hold MENU button for about 10 seconds to access the test menu, where you can choose number of tests and developer level information screens.

💻 Procedure for OBDeleven
Module 5F → Diagnostic Session → Developer mode
Module 5F → Adaptation → Developer mode → Activated

⚠️ Be careful and don’t do anything unless you are 100% sure what you are doing. In hidden green menu you can make changes that will cause your head unit to behave inoperable.

I was wondering if you know how i can change the menu style of the mib 2 to the one like the mib 2.5 i've seen various youtube video's that are showing how they change it but they never explain how it should be done. thank you.

Hi... I purchased an ODBeleven but was hoping just to use the one time app to turn on developer mode but it states its not supported? 😔 This is on a VW Tuguan 2016.

Hi your videos are great. I have a Caddy 2015 and i have put a Discover Media in it 1 it has gone into code protection mode and 2 if i brought a OBD11 would that allow me to get to the secret menu or the green menu. Or is there any other way of doing this.

Cześć, mam pytanie bo jestem zielony w temacie kodowania czy czegokolwiek. Mam golfa 7 z 2018 i jak przytrzymam przycisk menu to mam bodajże chyba jakichś 5 opcji, ale nie mam opcji tego zielonego ekranu. Żeby go włączyć wystarczy mieć obd eleven i aktywować jak na filmiku? No i czy wystarczy wersja standard obd czy potrzebna jest pro? To jedno pytanie. Drugie pytanie to czy jeśli miałbym obd eleven, wygeneruję kod aktywacyjny np. na android auto to wystarczy go wkleić przez obd (jak na jednym z Twoich filmików) i wszystko będzie śmigać?
