Life flashes before your eyes with all the things and people you are leaving behind but instead of feeling how you felt about the situation at the time this make you feel what they felt . It flashes very fast. When it was done my last thought before I fainted was I didn't get to say goodbye to my daughter. I remember being very cold and everything thing around became dark gray. Cold fog. Sounds of distant drips of water in an street or something similar. I was floating but my body wasn't there. Then the last thing I remember was a very intense feeling of loneliness. I had no memory of my physical life. I was in a very dark cold cave like place and it felt like I'd been there for millions of years. I heard distant voices very faint but couldn't make out what any were saying. I was Completely alone, no one existed but my very lonely self. Suddenly I was in my bath tub with paramedics all around me. Instantly forgot what had just happened. I was losing blood fast from a bursted tubal pregnancy. I was rushe to the nearest hospital where the trauma team was waiting for me. People swarmed me and everything was so in and out. It was as if part of my mind was living as if we were totally fine and another part knew I was dying but neither of them connected. I was prepped for surgery quick and next I knew I had a nurse saying my name asking if I was awake. She said I scared a lot of people that day. I said oh I did. She asked if I remembered what happened. My mind so blank I felt embarrassed and said yes I do. I asked her if I got there yesterday. She replied.. umm no just a couple hours ago. She said do you know the date I said not a clue she said ok then just give me a month or year? She said you don't remember anything do you. Nope I have no clue. Long story short. I remember the conversations but all memories are black. They had to give me two emergency blood transfusions. They pulled 6 liters of blood from my stomach. My blood count was under 3. I was in the hospital 4 days. It still didn't occur to me what had happened. I don't really know how to explain that my mind knew my life before my day of trauma . It knew that I lost a baby and went into surgery But it wasn't registering how it all happen or what happened until they told me I was finally going home. I panicked badly. All I could say for weeks at the hospital and when I returned home was please don't let me die. I don't want to die I don't want to die. It's a puzzle for me but I have changed in so many ways. I sometimes wonder if I was really that horrible person . Blood loss caused a lot of memory loss. All my heartache I was living with before that day, could no longer be felt the same way. I forgot people's names and that I even had a daughter. I couldn't remember her name. Several weeks passed before I slowly started remembering anything. It was my lesson but also a warning. I truly believe it happened for a reason

I remember the time I fainted & my entire life of memories flashes before my eyes ... it was quite beautiful but scary .. I woke up afterwards.. but I don't think I was supposed to ??

i had a near death experience when i slipped accidently into a flowing river. i remember very clearly after many attempts to swim up for breath when i finally lost hope( because i could not swim at that time) and that was the moment when all my precious life moment started to flash before my eyes. it was a horrific moment at that time.

Life’s flashing before our eyes because our brain haven’t experienced death before. It searches through all our memories to find a solution to save us.

It’s like when we slipped, our brain already know what to do and instinctively make us to our hands to hold onto something to save us.

After Death we go to an intermediate place between this life on earth and the hereafter life called "Albarzakh". In Al-Barzakh, everyone is in a deep asleep state as it revealed in Surat Yaseen, where God said in the Quran: " من بعثنا من مرقدنا هذا" meaning "who resurrected us from this asleep", the dead people are asking when they are resurrected (recreated again by God) for questioning on everything they done while they were on earth from the teenage age till their death). If they done good, they will be granted paradise but if they done bad such us harming people, killing innocent people, ....etc they will be rewarded Hell Fire

I think our consciousness is transcendent. I feel like we are the universe dying and reliving. Its the only way I can explain my dejavu's, bad feelings, intuitions, and other subconscious urges.

Okay, I just had a cool thought... (This is assuming life flashes before your eyes in a lenear )

If your life flashes before your eyes before you die, it's fair to say that you relive those moments, emotions, and feelings. As you are reliving your life there would come a point near the end that should bring you back to the present. But here's the thing, if the last moment you can relive is you watching your life flash before your eyes, then you will end up at the point of your flashback. Since the flashback is composed of your collective memory, then your "flashback self" would inevitably have a flashback of its own life. This means your consciousness will be passed down and replicated by the next flashback. "conscious preservation" will force you to repeat the same life over and over, passed down to you, from you. It's an inescapable cycle that will never know death.
