last October I bought 5 strawberry plants then I made 15 new plants. now I have to destroy or give away some of them and keep few of them for next season because I don't have enough space to keep them all.

Video title is wrong. Its not growing strawberries. It is propagating strawberry plants. There is a difference.

If you let the mother plant grow too many runners, you exhaust the mother plant and it stops fruiting

Sadly since I let my strawberries grow so many runners I hardly got any strawberries to much energy was going to make new plants instead of fruit 😕

Thanks for this video, I ordered some bare root strawberry plants, and received them. They are in my fridge now in the hydrator drawer(that’s where the accompanying paper told me to put them) now I need to buy some soil enhancers? For them to grow good. But in the mean time this is what I’ll plant them into. Instead of my raised garden beds. There I can’t look at the root structure like you did in the disposable water cups. I have some and will do as you show us to do. Thanks.
Hey are there any soil enhancers you recommend for strawberries? Let us know. I want my plants to have all the good things they need to grow strong. I don’t expect to get any fruit the first year. So they can get a good start in life. Please let us know about what to buy.🤗😋🍓

Ok, we are growing the root structure for our plants, that’s ok. We’ll just have to buy strawberries this year and save the plastic boxes for when we harvest our strawberries.🤗😋😁

I have more success propagating the runners in water first than transplant it soil. The roots grow faster in water.
