The vegetables in the greenhouse sure look great. The fruits of your labor continue to be a real blessing to you and a satisfaction to others. God bless America.

I never thin carrots. As the outer ones get picking size, I pick those, which allows the others to fill in the space.

Goodmorning Al, Gina and Olivia. A sunny Holland today, 23 degrees and dry, rain tomorrow. I dream of a greenhouse full of beautiful veggies, herbs and potatoes. 🤣😂🤣😂. It makes my day to see you working in the greenhouse and love to see all projects. Looking forward to what’s coming soon. Keep safe! 😍💐💕🌹🌺👍🏼

My wife and I grow basil every year and cook it in everything... she also makes basil olive oil near end of the growing season, and we store it in the refrigerator... it lasts a long time.

You guys are doing everything right from the looks of things! The greenhouse garden is amazing, the animals are doing so well, yes a lost chicken, but the animals are thriving none the less. I'm amazed at all you guys get done in a days time. Love to see Gina cooking and Olivia as well. You guys are just a beautiful family and I thank you for sharing your love of homesteading and your animals.

Usually I'm one of those negative people who watch what you do and have a million comments to say why I wouldn't do it that way, but I just want to tell you that what you're doing is amazing, Al. You've really got a great thing going, and even though I'm hyper critical most of the time, your videos are really entertaining and I appreciate you taking time to do this every day. Thanks man.

Good Monday mornin Moose Crossing ... maybe the loose chickens are laying elsewhere again? Yep, your green house is going crazy. I'm putting new tomato clips up my vines almost daily ... that includes my trellised (hooped cattle panels) watermelons. I wish I could get my tomato plant stems to be more robust as yours .... can't figure out what I am missing. I think it is lacking quality compost. I can't make my own due to attracting unwanted critters, plus I don't have space for one to be able to make enough. Your basil is doing very well ... I'm going to have to trim mine shortly as well. Having fresh basil will be such a treat. Hope you have a nice week AL, Gina & Olivia ... take care.

I love how you both love to garden. I remember one of your videos where you were teaching Livy to make pizza it was before the farm. I’ve been watching you very long time. I love to see that garden do so well. Peace and blessing and protection for you and your family

Al, I pulled a carrot plant yesterday and I had a little teeny tiny carrot just like you. I've been patiently waiting for my tomato plants to start blossoming and they still haven't yet. I pruned them and still nothing. Just love how much your garden is doing. Much love from OHIO ❤️❣️❣️❤️

When I plant small seeds like radish, carrots, etc. I use a large salt shaker put rice or cheerios and seeds they don't get too thick. Keep on farming. Enjoy your progress on the farm.

Good Morning from Johannesburg, South Africa. Middle of winter here, but the sun sure is shining brightly!
I wish to congratulate you on the quality of your videos and the work you do. Everything is tidy and ordered. Great to see. I follow quite a few Homesteaders, but this stays my favourite of all.
Blessings!

Yesterday I discovered compost, better than I usually find. I had grass clippings at the end of the fence, some weeds, some kitchen waste, and I ignored them for weeks, but working on one tomato it was wonderful to have. You do compost the un-rushed way, and you always have several piles.

Hi guys, you might think about water collection gutters on the greenhouse for watering and to prevent washout. Time to have multiple freezers, freeze those greens for winter, get a dehydrator and a pressure canner to save that harvest for winter too. Don't forget brassiCas leaves are edible, very yummy sautéed in butter, and as nutritious as the fruit. Even outer cabbage leaves for stuffed cabbage etc.

You should put a sight gauge on both water/rain barrels. Couple of elbows, clear tube and gator clamps.
Give you a good idea of what’s being collected and you’ll be able to compare the 2.

With a couple of overhead fans and you could circulate air for the squash to pollinate and also move air from the warm top down to the plants in winter.

Obviously a farm like this takes a lot of daily effort and work. But your family is exactly what this farm takes. I like that when the entire family does their share of the daily work. I am sure there are days you wish you didn't have to do anything on your farm, but that isn't how such a farm goes. It is a life time commitment and you all live up to that. Bravo for posting your farm and the different things it takes to maintain such a farm.
