The manifesto found on Luigi Mangione singled out UnitedHealthcare by name, according to the New York Times.

“These parasites had it coming,” it reportedly said. “I do apologize for any strife and trauma, but it had to be done.”

There was also criticism of health-care companies, alleging the companies have placed profits over care.

LiveNOW's Andrew Craft spoke about Mangione's writings and other details of the case with Mike Sisak from the Associated Press.

The suspect believed to have killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson has been identified as Luigi Mangione, 26.

Mangione is wanted in New York for charges including Murder in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree.

Thompson was shot outside of a hotel in Manhattan in New York City on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Mangione was taken into custody at a McDonald's on Monday in Altoona, PA.

Is the healthcare industry more concerned with keeping us sick and paying? Or healthy and not needing our services. The more I need services from my provider the more I get denied even though my doctors are saying it’s absolutely necessary

Why don't you guys ever quote the sentence AFTER the one about parasites, which gives it context? What are you afraid of?

Here it is for reference:

"Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy."

I had United Healthcare many years ago through my employer at the time. UNITED HEALTHCARE HAS TRASH COVERAGE. It's as good as having no insurance at all. The only benefit of having them is being able to flash an insurance card when you're asked for one. Office staff gives you the side eye if you tell them you don't have insurance. I hope this wakes them up...Not just United Healthcare but other insurance plans as well😏

I would convict him if they can prove he really did it, but their dna evidence is bull. They happen to find exactly what they needed in two pieces of trash on an nyc street? He had the gun on him, but tossed a bag of evidence filled with a manifesto etc. I don’t even think he is the same guy in the picture, and I wasn’t sold it was the guy in the original picture yet either. Then it turns out it’s a rich kid with the whole world at his feet a promising future, and every single person who knows him says it doesn’t sound like him or even that he could never do anything like this in their minds. I seriously don’t believe they have all this evidence so quickly when they clearly have motive to frame someone. Right now the Rich, who pay them are all over their butts. I’m sure demanding answers now. Scared out of their minds that there’s a crazy person killing them loose. Meanwhile, there’s all these people who see some rich guy get murdered, and if that bad guy gets away, it will inspire so many more people to do something then if he did not get away. And on top of it, there’s the cherry of them looking like they busted a high profile case so quickly. It all looks way too convenient and way too fake

I don't condone violence on anyone for any reason. But dont sit there and bulshit us like we cant see with our own eyes what the problem is. 37% denial with 281 billions profits is not insurance its extortion

Those cctv cameras photos don't match the real guy, , how did this employee identified him ?

The images doesn't match this guy. Noses are clearly different, and eyebrows looks a little different. But they have been known to lock up innocent people. But I don't know, I'm not involved

Call me crazy, but this is some kind of Psyop. Something’s not right. I can’t put my finger on it, yet. But there’s something a lot bigger going on here that the general public isn’t seeing.

Remember, it's not right vs left, it's up vs down. Workers, pay sttention to what Trump does with health care and let's see what and who he really values.

It's amazing how much Luigi looks just like Mark Rosario.

Has anyone considered that this was a setup. The CEO usually had security with him for fear of attacks. What better way to escape your enemies than faking your death? All of the evidence indicates a fraudulent attack. The CEO wasn't shot.

He’s screwed. He kept all the evidence on him like an idiot.

This kid is innocent. They set him up and planted that manifesto and spliced his picture. It’s all over X. FREE LUIGI
