They caught him too quickly.... If the target had been anyone else, if his message had been less righteous, this guy would've gotten away with it. The manpower put into his capture was extraordinary.

No way will I believe someone happened to recognize him in the back of a McDonalds. They most likely tracked him down using both legal AND ILLEGAL methods. They could not let him get away because they can't let the masses believe they can successfully revolt. They have to publicly castigate anyone who inspires vigilante justice.
