Could China Invade Australia?

Could China skip straight over Taiwan and invade Australia. They have over 2 million soldiers to Australia's 80,000, and Australia is totally unprepared for any kind of armed conflict with the militarily superior China. However, an invasion would have a lot of strategic and tactical hurdles.
